Our Story

This story begins at the now closed, Sidebar Miami in Brickell. Its was a night where two close friends introduced Jazmine and Richard and immediately the sparks started to fly. The moment that everyone went their separate ways, Richard vividly recalls telling his friend, that one day he would marry Jazmine.
The quick chit chat turned into a budding friendship between the two of them, where they would occasionally see each other at other outings and gatherings but stayed friends for about 2-3 years. For Jazmine’s 25th birthday, she invited Richard and that’s where their friendship developed into something deeper. They went on a couple of dates where the sparks were obvious.

During a fun picnic date in South Pointe Park, Richard asked Jazmine to be his girlfriend on June 23, 2019. Since that moment, they have been inseparable. From traveling the world, to experiencing personal and professional achievements, they grew closer as the seconds, minutes, days, and months passed. Jazmine and Richard have been each other’s biggest cheerleaders and supporters since that very day in June.
And the rest is history
Long before a European tour to Greece and Italy, Richard decided that would be the perfect opportunity to ask for Jazmine’s hand in marriage. On a beautiful sunset afternoon on July 1st, 2024 while in Florence, Italy, as they were overlooking the Duomo di Firenze in the background, Richard got down on one knee and asked Jazmine to marry him, just as he manifested that night at Sidebar several years prior.
Richard and Jazmine are tying the knot in the beautiful, breathtaking town of Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic, on July 11, 2026. They’re excited to turn this special day into an unforgettable weekend celebration for all their loved ones.
